DOVER, Ohio (Aug. 6, 2026) – Want to learn more about Ohio Star Theater or revisit a past production? Stop by the Dover Library through the end of August to check out a large display of memorabilia from the theater, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2027.
The library has graciously allowed us to fill the display cases inside its Walnut Street entrance with photos, playbills, props, and more. Inside, you’ll find pieces from the early days of the theatre company, when shows were presented in a conference room at the Carlisle Inn of Sugarcreek. You’ll also see the theater being built and learn about its transformation into a regional destination for wholesome live entertainment.
We’re grateful to Dover Library Director Jim Gill and his team for this wonderful opportunity to showcase our theater and all it has to offer, including original Bible-based musicals like The Road to Damascus and our newest production – Elijah: Prophet of Fire.
The Dover Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. The library is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you’re in the area, we encourage you to stop in and take a look around.
