A couple of construction projects scheduled for this summer won’t affect operations at our Walnut Creek locations.
Carlisle Inn, Der Dutchman, and Carlisle Gifts will remain open as scheduled while crews build a retaining wall on Main Street. Work is expected to begin in early June and last around 60 days. Guests will enter the parking area for the restaurant at the first driveway to the inn. The gift shop will be accessible by foot and from Olde Pump Street.
Also for 75 days beginning in June, state Route 515 will close to non-local traffic from Walnut Street to US-62 for rehabilitation work. The posted detour will follow Routes 62 and 39, or take the scenic way and bypass traffic by turning onto County Road 77.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is overseeing both projects. For the latest traffic conditions and road construction updates, download their OHGO mobile app.
