Ohio Star Theater to screen animated film Light of the World

SUGARCREEK, Ohio – Area families are invited to experience the greatest story ever told on as an animated film.

On Saturday, Jan.10, Ohio Star Theater will host a 1 p.m. screening of the movie Light of the World, which tells the story of Jesus Christ through the eyes of the Apostle John. The event is in partnership with the Faith Content Network and follows a well-attended showing of the film King of Kings at the theater on Nov. 14.

“We are so excited to present another family-friendly animated story about the life of Jesus,” said Larissa Carrick, Ohio Star Theater operations manager. “Light of the World promises to be an excellent way to reach all ages with the most important story ever told!”

Light of the World is the first movie from Salvation Project, a non-profit ministry and creative studio dedicated to “crafting beautiful stories that share Jesus with the world.” Tickets to the Jan. 10 screening at Ohio Star Theater are $12 for adults and $8 for children, available online at OhioStarTheater.com, by phone at 855-344-7547, and at the door the day of the event. The theater is located at 1387 Old Route 39 NE on the Dutch Valley campus, steps away from dining, shopping, and lodging.
