SUGARCREEK (July 3, 2025) – A traffic safety project will impact travel through Amish Country next week.
Route 39 will close to non-local traffic between Dover and Sugarcreek for five days beginning on Monday, July 7, to repair a railroad crossing.
The posted detour follows Routes 516 and 93, but you don’t have to go that far out of the way to come see us.
To Dutch Valley Campus
From Dover: Stay on Route 39 West toward Sugarcreek.
From Route 39 East: Continue past Route 93. Turn left onto Edelweiss Drive, just before the railroad crossing. At the stop sign, turn right onto Belden Parkway. Continue to the traffic light, then turn left to return to Route 39
To Walnut Creek Campus and Berlin Farmstead Restaurant
From Dover: Stay on Route 39 West toward Sugarcreek. Turn right at Belden Parkway (next to Speedway). At the stop sign, turn left onto Edelweiss Drive. Continue to the traffic light. Then turn right to return to Route 39.
