IDentity is a group of six men—preachers, psalmists, and pastors—walking boldly in the season God called them to long ago. Formerly known as The Bishops, they began ministering in 1984, sharing the stage with gospel legends like Commissioned, The Winans, and Edwin Hawkins.

After stepping back from the spotlight in 1989, a reunion concert in 2013 sparked something deeper. What started as one night of support for a mission trip turned into a revived calling—and a fresh name rooted in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Now known as IDentity, the group is recognized for their mature gospel sound, rich harmonies, and a heart for ministry. Their music isn’t about performance—it’s about presence.
