Ordering Policy
The confirmation of an order by email or any other type of electronic confirmation does not constitute Dutchman Online Store’s acceptance of the order. Dutchman Online Store has the right to refuse shipment without any prior notification.
Returns
Dutchman Online Store does not accept returns without prior arrangement. Damaged items must be reported to carrier upon receipt. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges on returned items will be assumed by the purchaser.
Shipping Policy
When ordering, please check the shipping address carefully; incomplete or incorrect information may cause order processing or shipping delays. If you are sending a gift, we strongly encourage you to notify the recipient of the package’s arrival to ensure someone is available to accept delivery. If an order is delivered to an incorrect address or deemed undeliverable due to incomplete or inaccurate information or because no one is available to accept delivery, Dutchman Online Store is not responsible for replacement orders or refunds.
Shelf-stable food products and non-food items will be shipped UPS Ground Service unless otherwise requested. Shipping costs are calculated in real time in our UPS shipping calculator. These costs are dependent on your shipping address. All shelf-stable food items should be stored in ambient temperature conditions upon delivery.
Oversized products may be sent to you directly from our manufacturer. These products will be shipped UPS Ground Service unless otherwise requested. Please allow seven to ten days for processing and delivery of these items.
Chilled and frozen food products will be shipped only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Depending on your location, they may need to be sent UPS Second-Day delivery. Our representatives will call you in such a case. Shipping costs are calculated in real time in our UPS shipping calculator. These costs are dependent on your shipping address. To ensure that your products arrive safely and in excellent condition, all perishable products are packed in reusable, insulated shipping containers and kept cold with gel packs or dry ice. Please refrigerate these items immediately upon delivery.
Gift Cards will be shipped via USPS unless otherwise requested. No UPS shipping will apply if you choose the shipping option Gift Certificates Only. A $1.50 charge is automatically added to gift card purchases to cover the handling and mailing.
Shipments with zero shipping added will not be sent. We cannot add any charges to your credit card after the transaction has by submitted. Please call 1-800-852-2631 to make arrangements to add shipping charges.
Rush deliveries are available only by special request. Please call 1-800-852-2631 for more information or to arrange rush delivery.
Canadian orders are no longer accepted because of surprise charges, such as duties and brokerage fees on shipments to Canada. Because shipments may be held by Canadian authorities, we could not offer any assurances of freshness of any food shipments.
